S8-3_COACHELLA/PIRATE PALOOZA
Camera: Yashica Super 600 Electro Film: Pro 8mm Bright Sun 50D
Shot in April 2022, during my trip to Coachella, I later finished this film roll at Pirate Palooza, a Claremont College party. This was the first roll I shot after having developed and seen my first two rolls, and I continued learn and get the hang of things with this one. I also played around with a new film stock, and think the colors look great on this one.
S8-2_MARCH ‘22
Camera: Yashica Super 600 Electro Film: KODAK Vision3 500T
During my spring break in March of 2022 I brough my Super 8 camara back home and loaded in a roll of 500 Tungsten film. I very much overestimated the film, as I thought it would work a lot better with extreme low light. Although the film did not end up as consistent as the first one I learned a lot shooting this and still kind of dig the nostalgic vibes it has.
S8-1_A DAY AT THE PARK: DISNEYLAND
Camera: Yashica Super 600 Electro Film: KODAK Vision3 200T
This was the first roll of Super 8 I shot. A day after I acquired my Yashica Super 600 Electro camara I spent a day at the park (Disneyland) filming the environment and learning to use the camera. I think of the two videos, this Disneyland video turned out better. I developed S8-1 and S8-2 at the same time, and shot them both during March 2022. Out of these first two film rolls I like the Disneyland one a lot more.
