A Life Phenix

This was my final project for my high school freshman year art class, where I tried to mimic and pay homag to Wes Anderson’s filmmaking style. This was a one man job, I had complete creative control and had no crew to help me, it was just me and the three actors, all of which were friends to whom I gave free pizza (seen in the movie) for helping me. This was also the first time I shot a project with the DJI OSMO PRO, so what I’m trying to say is I was very inexperienced when I filmed this, in fact, I had to shoot the whole film twice. After finishing the four hour shoot I realized that I had somehow failed to record audio, and as such, shot it all again the following day. This time making sure everything was in check. I have also linked a draft cut of the film, which uses the original soundless footage.
